The Great Give May 3rd to May 4th

Consistent with my mission and as a legacy project as I age, I am helping fund a Poetry Garden. This 13,300 square foot blight will be transformed by that Tower Foundation into a handicapped accessible intergenerational community garden, the Catherine Weiss Poetry Garden is located within this multi =use destination between Union Station and New Haven Green. The Poetry Garden will have benches, sculpture and a podium for ongoing poetry classes and readings.

Having grown up in a low income city neighborhood I believe we should all have access to beautiful green spaces, and I am beyond excited to be involved in another “first” with The Tower Foundation. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for October, 2023.
